The Auckland Goethe Society invites you to our online German Quiz Night on Tuesday 24th May, starting at 6pm! Please sign up via Eventbrite to attend!
Do you love Germany and want to test your knowledge? Or are you a fan of quiz nights and want to learn lots of interesting facts about Germany? Join us on Zoom for a fun trivia evening and some friendly competition against others!
There will be eight rounds of 10 questions each and a Ponderous Puzzle. The rounds are:
General Knowledge
Food & Drinks
Music & TV
List Round
Geography & Landmarks
Sports
Festivals & Traditions
Words & Vocab
How does it work?
1. Sign up via Eventbrite in a team of 3-5 people (select multiple tickets) or individually (we will put you in a team). Alternatively, if you need help signing up, please email the Auckland Goethe Society.
2. Join the Zoom meeting on the night and you will be put into a breakout room with your team.
3. The quiz will be completed using Google Forms under a time limit.
4. At the end of the quiz, everyone will come back into the main room to chat, relax and have a short break before the top scoring teams are announced.
5. The winning team(s) will receive prizes!
Other information
The event is free to attend and anyone can participate regardless of their level of German knowledge.
High school students will compete in a separate category, all other teams will compete in the same category.
The quiz questions are in English but there are some German words/answers.
