Welcome to the 2022 season of the German Drama Company!

The German Drama Company is a student-run amateur theater group operating out of the University of Auckland since 1977. Every year they present a play in the German language, bringing together members of the German speaking community for a one week-long theatre season. The German Drama Company is proud and excited to present their 45th show: Die fragliche Insel (Shady Isles) by Courtney Sole.

Synopsis: The show is a brilliant comedy with a chaotic plot and riotous characters. Famous Germans from throughout history battle it out for their favourite charities in a televised island reality show. Alliances, betrayals, and breakdowns, who will win the ultimate prize?
